Starting September 11, Pinoys who have an emergency can dial the unified hotline 911 to call for help.
The hotline service is free and available 24/7, with a target response time of five minutes. It is also designed to be language-sensitive, so callers can speak in Tagalog, Cebuano, Ilocano, Waray, Tausug, and other Philippine languages and dialects and still be understood and receive help.
